Beatriz Barbalho Marques wins third place in the short story competition, organized by Colégio do Carmo, on the occasion of the Book Biennial, which had the theme "At the Clinic".

Choosing the winners was difficult since not only students participated, but professionals from the most different areas, which ensured the excellent level of the texts. The first place went to the tale of a judge of law from Cubatão and the second place, to a prosecutor from São Paulo.

In her short story, Beatriz focuses on the issue of difficult dialogue between parents and children. "My goal was to try to pass a message to all parents, in the sense that they have a more open relationship with their children", she explains.
